Local and Culturally Relevant Events this week:

The Massachusetts Democratic Party hosted a barbecue at the home of Donalexander Goss and Sadie Burton-Goss in Mattapan on Tuesday, July 17th, as part of its ongoing “Summer Days of Action” tour. Over 60 people attended the event, which raised money for the funding of Democratic Party initiatives. Attendees included Massachusetts Democratic Party Chairman John Walsh and Executive Director Stacey Monahan, State Rep. Linda Dorcena-Forry, Boston City Council President Maureen Feeney, former House Speaker Tom Finneran and other prominent public officials.
