As part of its inaugural KELLY Award, The Mass Mentoring Partnership presented Massiel, a 16-year-old Roxbury/Sound End resident, with a $15,000 educational scholarship last Thursday, Jan. 31, at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum. Massiel, who emigrated from the Dominican Republic when she was seven, was nominated for the award by her mentor, Camille Marcos.
